Saving Photos with the HP 1200 Series Printers

These instructions may work with Windows 95 and will work with Windows 98, Windows ME, Window NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.

  1. Insert memory card from the camera (grove goes in and writing to the back).
  2. Press the save button on the printer. A box will pop up in the computer screen.  Make a note of the folder (file) name.
  3. Click the start button on the computer screen (the box will close).
  4. On your computer screen, double click the "My Docs" folder.
  5. Then double click the "My Pictures" folder.
  6. Then double click the folder name that your computer (printer) created.
  7. Then double click the "DC Images" folder and your pictures should be in there.
  8. Click once on a picture to pre-view it, double click on a picture to enlarge it.  (Note: When you enlarge a picture, it will open another box, your Internet Explorer.  So you will have to close it to get back to your list of pictures).
